Throughout the year we try to get lots of workshops, events and social things on. We also try to do at least one fundraiser a year, non members are also very welcome to join in! Have a read to see what's planned for this year.
15th February Handstand Workshops with Natalie
Ready to Level Up Your Handstand Practice?
Join us for Handstand Movement Workshops in Penrith on Saturday, 15th February 2025, and take your handstand journey to the next level with expert guidance, focused practice, and a supportive community!
Location: Redhills Barn Fitness Ltd, Agricultural Hall, Skirsgill, Penrith, CA11 0DN
Cost: £50 per workshop
Adults only (18+).
Workshop Schedule:
Begintermediate Workshop: 10:00 AM – 1:00 PM
Ideal for those building their handstand foundation, this workshop covers:
• Handstand alignment and mechanics for a straight, stable position.
• Chest-to-wall drills for strength and confidence.
• Safe falling techniques.
• Step-by-step guidance for kicking up to the wall and exploring balance.
Intermediate Workshop: 2:00 PM – 5:00 PM
Designed for individuals comfortable with chest-to-wall • handstands and kicking up away from the wall. This session focuses on:
• Fine-tuning alignment for control and balance.
• Exploring shapes like straddles, pikes, and splits.
• Practicing advanced entry techniques, including tuck, straddle, and press entries.
What You’ll Receive:
A complimentary goody bag with snacks and a trigger point ball to enhance your practice.
Coaching tailored to your skill level to ensure progress.

Natalie (@theoutspoken30s): Founder of The Handstand Movement, Natalie has been coaching since 2021, helping individuals from all skill levels achieve their handstand dreams. Her personalized approach and passion for handstands create a fun, motivating, and transformative workshop experience.
Before the workshop, we’ll reach out via WhatsApp to learn more about your handstand level, share venue details, and provide preparation tips.

16th February - Deadly Dozen Fitness Test
Grab your running shoes or choose another cardio option, kettlebells, dumbbells and weight plate and get ready for the Deadly dozen Fitness test! Free for membership holders and drop ins available for non members. Everyone can do this!
Gelt Gladiator - 21st June
6k Mud run! Awesome fun, everyone welcome to come along and do it with us. Choose the 6K option, 2pm slot (if available, don't worry if it isn't just choose as close as you can) and add in team name Redhills Rednecks when it gives you the option so that we all go together. I will be there to help people with the obstacles so please don't worry if you feel you won't manage, we are there to get you round!

DB Lunge: Male: 2x 12.5kg / Female: 2x 7.5kg
DB Snatch: Male: 1x 15kg / Female: 1x 9kg
KB Goblet Squat: Male: 1x 16kg / Female: 1x 12kg
WP Front Carry: Male: 1x 25kg / Female: 1x 20kg
DB Push Press: Male: 2x 12.5kg / Female: 2x 6kg
WP Clean & Press: Male: 1x 15kg / Female: 1x 10kg
WP Overhead Carry: Male: 1x 15kg / Female: 1x 10kg
